October 2009 – NIS partners with WYSE, a leader in Thin Computing, to deliver mobile and desktop thin computing solution to a federal civilian agency. The requirement will replace some of the desktops and laptops with thin or zero client systems, making it easier for IT to manage user desktops and laptops by moving their complexity to the datacenter.

September 2009 – NIS is partnering with Citrix (a leader in desktop, application and server virtualization, application networking, cloud computing and software as a service offering) to deliver Simplified Service Delivery (SSD) to a federal civilian agency.

August 2009 – NIS awarded a contract to provide information technology support service to Rizzani de Eccher in support of the Dulles Metro Rail project. With this contract, NIS is providing Broadband Internet Access, wireless communications, end-user support, remote backup and continuity of business operations.
